Jasper Man Arrested for OWI, Tests Nearly Four Times Legal Limit

Jasper - A Jasper man was arrested on OWI charges after testing at nearly four times the legal alcohol limit.


Just after 5:00 p.m. Monday afternoon, officers with the Jasper Police Department were alerted to a possible drunk driver in the area of 15th Street and Leopold Street.

Officers located the vehicle in question pulling into the owner's driveway. Officers made contact with Daniel Jarboe, 38, of Jasper, and determined that he was under the influence. Jarboe tested at a blood alcohol content reading of .314%, nearly four times the legal limit.

Jarboe was taken to the Dubois County Security Center and charged with OWI and OWI With a BAC of .15 or Higher.
