Jasper Man Arrested for Driving Without Ever Receiving a License

Jasper - Over the weekend, a 52-year-old Jasper man was arrested for driving without ever receiving a driver's license.

On Sunday just after noon, the Jasper Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a 1994 Honda Accord at the intersection of 36th Street and Villa Drive.

Upon investigation, the male driver was found to be Jose Santos Guevara Alvarez. Alvarez was found to be operating his vehicle without ever receiving a driver's license through any state.

Alvarez was arrested and transported to the Dubois County Security Center. Alvarez was charged with Operator Never Received a License (Class C Misdemeanor).
