Jasper Man Arrested for Driving Under the Influence

Jasper - A Jasper man was arrested early Monday morning for driving under the influence.

At approximately 1:09 a.m. Monday morning, Jasper Police Officers pulled over Ryan K. Long, 40, of Jasper, for a failure to stop at a stop sign. Over the course of the traffic stop, officers determined that Long was impaired.

After field testing and a chemical test, it was determined that Long was under the influence of narcotics.

Long was charged with Operating While Intoxicated and OWI Endangerment. Long was also given citations for failing to stop at a stop sign and operating without insurance.
