Jasper Man Arrested for Charges Stemming From Domestic Dispute

Japer Police Officers were dispatched to an address on Altmeyer Road at approximately 1:27 a.m. on Friday morning in reference to a domestic dispute. By the time officers arrived at the residence, the parties involved had separated and the male involved had left the location.

Officers on the scene conducted an investigation at the home and determined that the male had caused several injuries to the victim.

While Jasper Police were on the scene, the male, identified as Preston Peachee, 46, of Jasper, returned to the location in his vehicle. While officers spoke with Peachee, they suspected him to be intoxicated.

Peachee was transported for further questioning and a chemical test - resulting in a Blood Alcohol Content test of .098%, over the legal limit.

Peachee was arrest on one count each of Domestic Battery and Operating While Intoxicated.
