Jasper Man Arrested For Allegedly Fleeing From Police on Highway 145

FRENCH LICK -- A Jasper man is in the Orange County Jail after leading State Police troopers on a short chase Wednesday.
Troopers say 22-year-old Braden Halcomb was speeding on Highway 145 in French Lick. When officers tried to pull him over, they say Halcomb took off at a high rate of speed.
The suspect pulled into a private residence and parked under a carport to elude troopers.
He was caught and taken into custody.
He’s charged with a felony count of Resisting Law Enforcement with a Vehicle. Halcomb is also facing the following misdemeanor charges: Possession of Marijuana; OWI on a Controlled Substance; Driving Without Ever Receiving a License, and Possession of Paraphernalia.
