Jasper Drunk Driver Arrested on Multiple Felony Charges

Jasper - A Jasper driver was arrested on two felony counts on Wednesday night.

Osmin Serrano-Serrano, 45, of Jasper, was stopped by Jasper PD officers for running a stop light at Northwood Avenue and Newton Street and failure to maintain lane. After further investigation, it was determined that the driver was under the influence of alcohol.

A preliminary blood test gave a result of .221 BAC, almost three times the legal limit. The subject was booked into the Dubois County Security Center.

Serrano-Serrano was charged with: Operating a Vehicle with a BAC of .15 or More Where Defendant Has A Prior conviction for OWI Within Last 7 Years (Level 6 Felony), Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated Endangering a Person-Defendant Has Prior Conviction Within Last 7 Years and Operator Never Licensed (Level 6 Felony).
