Jasper Driver Hits Multiple Mailboxes, Arrested for OWI
Jasper - Late Monday night, a Jasper woman was arrested for OWI after hitting multiple mailboxes.
On Monday, around 10:15 p.m., the Jasper Police Department was dispatched to the area of
Arlington Court in reference to multiple mailboxes that had been destroyed.
Upon further investigation, it was
determined that Kristy Martindale, 35, of Jasper, had hit the mailboxes with her vehicle. Martindale showed signs of impairment
and was taken to the Memorial Hospital for a certified chemical blood test where she tested .14.
Martindale was
charged with Leaving the Scene of an Accident (Misdemeanor,) OWI (Misdemeanor,) and OWI endangerment (Misdemeanor). Martindale was lodged in the Dubois County Security Center.
