Jasper Community Arts Board Prepares to Open New Season

The Jasper Community Arts board met on Tuesday night to discuss plans to celebrate their upcoming 50 th anniversary and to prepare for some exciting event programming.

With the upcoming 50 th anniversary of JCA, the board eagerly discussed a rebranding for the organization that will more fully represent the Jasper arts community. With an eye toward supporting local businesses, the board spent a significant amount of time discussing choice of printers and services in regard to fall season guides and the rebranding process.

In other news, the 2025 budget is still being created, but will be available for review at the next meeting. The board also approved a motion to begin the process of replacing the facility’s roof. Event space rentals have been slower during the summer months, but bookings are steadily increasing for the fall through the end of the year. Exhibitions have been well attended and positively received. The board reemphasized its commitment to representing the community as a whole in its support of the arts.
