Jasper Chamber to Host Security Seminar

Jasper - The Jasper Chamber of Commerce has announced an upcoming Cybersecurity Seminar in May.

The Lunch n' Learn program will feature key note speaker Juan Mack, IT Manager at Matrix Integration. According to the Jasper Chamber of Commerce, Mack will highlight, among other topics:

~some basic cybersecurity terms

~how you can defend yourself against cyberattacks

~understanding the risks associated with cyber activity

~what you can do to protect yourself and your business.

Cybersecurity is the art of protecting networks, devices, and data from unauthorized access or criminal use and the practice of ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information.

The Cybersecurity Seminar is scheduled for Wednesday, May 4th, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The $20 entry for the event includes the serving of a light lunch.
