Jasper Chamber/Memorial Hospital partner for Summer health screening
Jasper- The Jasper Chamber of Commerce and Memorial Health Care Center are hosting a health screening.
The event takes place on Wednesday July 6th, 2022 from 5:45am-8:30am at the Memorial Health Employer services building across from the Jasper IGA on 2nd Street.
The event is open for the Public and Jasper Chamber. The screening includes:
- Blood Cholesterol (Total Cholesterol, HDL, LDL, Triglycerides, Cholesterol Ratio) (blood draw)
- Blood Pressure
- Height and Weight
- Waist Circumference
- BMI (Body Mass Index)
- Blood Glucose (blood draw)
- Chemistry panel (blood draw)
- Tobacco Status
- Colon Cancer detection take-home kits, optional for those over age 50
- PSA (blood draw), optional for men 50 and older or those with a risk for prostate cancer
- TSH (blood draw)
- CBC (blood draw)
- A1C (blood draw)
The cost for the screenings are:
- Basic Screening: $40
- PSA blood test: $21 (optional blood draw for men)
- Colon Cancer detection kits: $9 (optional)
- CBC: $13 (optional blood draw)
- TSH: $13 (optional blood draw)
- A1C: $20.00 (optional blood draw)

You are asked to fast for 12 hours prior to your appointment. Drinking water is permitted. If you are diabetic, you can request an early appointment.
The Screenings take around 20 minutes to complete. Appointments will be made every 15 minutes.
Results are confidential. A Health Educator will have the results on Monday, July 25th, 2022 from 9:00am-10:00am at the Memorial Hospital Health Employer Services building. Any results that are not picked up on that Monday will be mailed.
