Jasper-Based SERVUS, Inc. Sells Denny's Restaurant Division to Arizona Company

JASPER -- Jasper-based SERVUS, Inc. has sold its Denny’s Restaurant division to Chandler, Arizona-based Top Line Restaurants.

The sale includes 20 Denny’s restaurants, including the location in Jasper.

It’s just the latest sale for the locally-based company.  Last year, SERVUS sold the Jasper 8 Theatre to an Evansville company and sold the Grandy’s division to Grandy’s LLC.

In a written statement, SERVUS owner Sid Ruckriegel said, “This planned transition, to focus primarily on the real estate portion of the business, has been gradual over the past few years and is expected to finalize in early 2020.”

SERVUS has been in the restaurant industry since 1964 when they opened just one coffee shop.  It grew into a large company, operating in four states: Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois and Michigan.
