Jasper Band Parents’ Annual Auction & Dinner Fundraiser

The Jasper Band Parent Organization is delighted to share details of their biggest annual fundraising event, the Notable Event Auction & Dinner, taking place Saturday, March 2, 2024, in the Atrium at the Thyen-Clark Cultural Center in Jasper. 

This evening, tailored for those aged 21 and above, promises an extraordinary night of friendship, food, and philanthropy in support of our local students and Jasper Band programs. 

Funding from this year’s $30,000 goal will not only pay for new uniforms, props, transportation, scholarships, and instruments, but a portion is also targeted to fund the Jasper Bands’ Dubois County Community Foundation endowment ensuring that local music education programs continue to thrive in the future. 

The Notable Event auction boasts a diverse array of items suitable for all budgets, including sporting event tickets, themed baskets, local merchandise and gift certificates, and unique experiences like bourbon tastings, meal deliveries, scavenger hunts, golf rounds, spa parties, and wine events. Attendees can take pride knowing their contributions, big or small, will directly impact the musical education of local students. 

Please join us when the event kicks off at 5pm with a lively cocktail hour, featuring a cash bar and grazing table.  Attendees will have the opportunity to start bidding on exclusive auction items while mingling with friends and supporters. 

At 6:30 pm, guests will be treated to a delicious buffet dinner catered by Phil Barth.  The dessert auction, a sweet highlight of the night, will feature treats from the best bakers and bakeries in the area.  The excitement continues with a silent auction concluding at 7:30 pm, followed by the main event – a Live Auction and games.  

Ticket prices for this unforgettable evening are $50 per person, with a business casual dress code recommended.  Attendees are encouraged to bring small bills or cash to participate in the entertaining games sprinkled throughout the night. 

To guarantee reservations, RSVP by February 17.  Tickets may be available at $55 per person after this date. 

For those unable to attend in person, an Online Auction will open February 24 to March 2 at 12:00 pm.  The Jasper Band Parent Organization also welcomes direct donations sent to ‘A Notable Event’, P.O. Box 948, Jasper, IN 47547.
