TERRE HAUTE -- Indiana State University leaders are proposing revisions to the Spring 2021 academic calendar, including a delay to the start of the spring semester and the elimination of spring break, to help minimize the spread of the coronavirus.
WTWO says the revised schedule indicates classes would start on January 19, 2021 and spring classes would still end on April 30, as previously scheduled.
Commencement is still scheduled for May 8.
The revised schedule will be brought up for approval at a special meeting of the ISU Board of Trustees on October 1.
