ISP: Man Arrested for OWI while on Power Wheels Jeep

Vincennes- Indiana State Police say 51-year-old John McKee was arrested Wednesday night for operating while intoxicated.

McKee’s choice of vehicle though was not your traditional car or motorcycle. Troopers were patrolling the 2500 Block of 2nd Street in Vincennes when they noticed a Power Wheels Jeep in the roadway without lights or reflectors. This made the vehicle hard to see, say officials. 

A traffic stop was conducted on 2nd street and troopers say McKee showed signs of impairment. He would fail field sobriety tests and would test positive for Marijuana and Methamphetamine at the hospital.

McKee was arrested for Operating a Vehicle while Intoxicated with a prior conviction. He was lodged in the Knox County Jail.
