Huntingburg Woman Arrested for OWI, Endangering Minor

Jasper - Friday afternoon at approximately 3:30 p.m., Jasper Police Department was notified of a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of 1st Avenue and US 231.

Upon arrival, it was determined that Sara K. Brown, 35 of Huntingburg, was operating the wrecked Toyota Camry. After an investigation and field sobriety testing, Brown was transported to Memorial Hospital for a chemical test. Brown's BAC was measured at .16%, double the legal limit.

Brown was lodged into the Dubois County Security Center. 

She is charged with a felony count of OWI with a passenger under 18 years of age and two misdemeanors.
