Huntingburg Police Arrest Jasper Man on Drug and False Informing Charges

HUNTINGBURG -- Huntingburg Police arrested 43-year-old John Clevidence of Jasper over the weekend after allegedly finding drugs and paraphernalia during a traffic stop Sunday.

Police say Clevidence spelled his name wrong when police asked him to identify himself.

For that, he’s charged with False Informing.

He’s also charged with multiple felonies for driving as a habitual traffic violator, Possession of a Legend Drug, and Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe.

Clevidence is lodged in the Dubois County Security Center.
