Huntingburg Man Arrested after Fleeing on Skateboard

Jasper- The Jasper Police Department arrested a man after he fled from the scene of an accident on a skateboard.

Officers were dispatched to St. Charles and 36th Street in reference to a single vehicle accident that damaged a tree. The driver, 22 year old Jaden Lankford, fled from the vehicle on a skateboard.

Officers found Lankford at the intersection of Leawood drive and Oakbrook court. Upon investigation, Lankford was found to be in possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia.
