Huntingburg Airport Authority to Kick Off $7 Million Runway Extension Project Next Week

HUNTINGBURG -- The Huntingburg Airport Authority will be kicking off its long-awaited runway extension project next week.

The $7 million project includes a 500-foot extension of the existing runway and a 180-foot tunnel.  It also sets the stage for future runway extensions.

The project is being funded with money from the FAA, INDOT and the Dubois County Airport Authority.

Officials will officially kick the project off on Friday, March 13th at 10:00 a.m.
