How Dubois County Will Enter Stage 3 of the Governor's Back-on-Track Plan

JASPER -- Stage 3 of the governor’s Back-on-Track Indiana Plan starts today.
In STAGE THREE, officials tell Hoosiers 65 and older, and those with underlying health conditions, they should continue to limit exposure at work and in the community and remote work whenever possible. Everyone is encouraged to wear a face covering in public.
Social gatherings of up to 100 people will be allowed as long as social distancing guidelines are being followed.
Gyms and fitness centers can reopen but there will be restrictions including smaller class sizes. Equipment must be spaced to accommodate social distancing. Limited class sizes. Equipment must be cleaned after each use, and employees are required to wear face coverings.
Retail stores and malls will increase to 75% of capacity while maintaining social distancing. Mall common areas, such as food courts and sitting areas, are limited to 50% capacity through STAGE THREE.
Tennis courts, basketball courts, and similar facilities may open with social distancing guidelines in place and community pools will be allowed to open according to CDC guidance.
Movie theaters and playground equipment, which had been projected to open in stage 3, will remain closed as part of an Executive Order signed by Mr. Holcomb on Thursday.
Movie theaters are now projected to open along with other entertainment facilities and venues during stage 4.
Playgrounds are to be determined.
Schools, bars and nightclubs and cultural, entertainment and sports venues will remain closed through STAGE THREE.
All City of Huntingburg public parks (including playgrounds, athletic facilities, and restrooms) will re-open on Friday, May 22, 2020 – two days earlier than previously announced. Park visitors are required to continue following the CDC’s social distancing guidelines at this time.
