Hopf Defeats Schwinghammer for Mayoral Primary

Huntingburg- Final results have come in from the Huntingburg Mayoral primary.
Republican James Hopf defeated incumbent Steve Schwinghammer by a final tally of 422-361. Hopf collected 54% of the votes.
Hopf was the early favorite, according to the early voting ballots. Those votes showed him favored 166-156. He would add 256 more votes on election day to take the primary.
783 total votes were cast in the Mayoral Primary.
Hopf is now the uncontested candidate for the Mayor of Huntingburg.
