Holiday World to Host Digital Opening Day This Weekend Due to COVID-19

SANTA CLAUS -- Holiday World was supposed to open this weekend. However, because of the coronavirus pandemic, the theme park in Santa Claus has postponed it's opening day to June.
Instead, the park will welcome guests digitally on Saturday.
"We may not be able to welcome guests through our gates on May 2, as we had originally planned," owner Leah Koch told Inside Indiana Business. "But we're going to celebrate it just the same."
From 9am-9pm, Holiday World & Splashin' Safari will post activities on their website every hour, including videos of rides, tutorials on how to make some of the food that is offered at the park, and even get a Spotify playlist so they can listen to the songs played in the park. The night will end with a drone's view of the park's fireworks show.
