STATEWIDE -- Indiana's coronavirus restrictions will remain in place for now.

Governor Eric Holcomb is extending the state's emergency order for another seven days.

Mr. Holcomb says Indiana's coronavirus numbers have been falling for weeks and the state's seven-day positive rate dropped to ten-point-eight-percent, but he wants to be cautious.

The governor says he'll decide the next step next week.

Holcomb says enough Hoosier counties are still in the red, like Dubois County, that the restrictions need to stay in place.
