Guns and Drugs found during Multi-Agency Investigation
Jasper- The Dubois County Sheriff’s Office say a Jasper man was found to be in possession of several illegal drugs and guns following a multi-agency investigation.
In early September, the Sheriff’s office was contacted by the Pike County Sheriff’s Department, alerting them 44-year-old Clinton J. Allen of Jasper may be distributing methamphetamine from inside his home.
Dubois County Detectives, along with the Pike County Sheriff’s Office, Indiana State Police, and Jasper Police department, served a search warrant for Allen’s residence on September 7th. During their search, officers and deputies found 8.4 grams of methamphetamine, 7.1 grams of marijuana, and multiple stolen firearms and illegal paraphernalia.
Allen was arrested and lodged in the Dubois County Security Center on the following charges:
- Dealing Methamphetamine with a Firearm (Level 2 Felony)
- Possession of Methamphetamine over 5 grams with a firearm (Level 3 Felony)
- (2 Counts) Theft of a Firearm (Level 5 Felony)
- Maintaining a Common Nuisance (Level 6 Felony)
- Neglect of a Dependent (Level 6 Felony)
- Possession of Marijuana (Class B Misdemeanor)
- Possession of Paraphernalia (Class C Misdemeanor)
