Get Ready to Howl at the Moon: A Night of Music, Dancing, and Philanthropy

Prepare for an evening you won’t forget as Mentors for Youth proudly presents Howl at the Moon, a fundraiser set to take place on October 4th, 2024, at River Centre. This unique event promises an unforgettable night filled with incredible food, lively dancing, and most notably, a thrilling dueling pianos performance by Howl2Go.

Howl at the Moon invites guests to indulge heavy appetizers crafted by Butcher and Barrel, complemented by a selection of wine, beer, and cocktails. As the night unfolds, attendees will be treated to the high-energy excitement of dueling pianos, featuring a dynamic showdown between two skilled pianists who will entertain with a mix of popular hits and classic tunes (and even take requests).

In addition to the music, the evening will feature a silent auction with an array of exclusive items and experiences. All proceeds from the auction will go directly to supporting Mentors for Youth, making every bid a step towards making a difference.

Information regarding ticketing is forthcoming. Please follow the Mentors for Youth Facebook page or check the website www.mentors4youth.com for updates. For more information about Howl at the Moon or to inquire about sponsorship opportunities, please contact Erin Kidwell at (812)482-2227 or [email protected]

Join us for an evening where the moonlight meets melody and make a lasting impact!

About Mentors for Youth of Dubois County

Many children in Dubois County lack a "naturally occurring" mentor in their life. Mentors for Youth seeks to match youth between the ages of 6 and 14 with caring adults who wish to spend two hours every other week for one year together. Mentors work with their mentees to establish goals and develop life skills, such as decision-making, problem-solving, and communication. The organization also engages in activities that promote positive youth development, such as agency-sponsored community service projects and recreational activities.

Mission:

Mentors for Youth is dedicated to facilitating mutually beneficial relationships between youth and adults for the purpose of enhancing individual lives and the community.

Vision:

To be the difference, the change, and the good in the lives of Dubois County children facing adversity.
