Garlic Mustard Pull Thursday at Ferdinand State Forest

Volunteers are needed to to help pull and remove invasive garlic mustard plants from Ferdinand State Forest, near the gatehouse Thursday evening, April 29 from 4 pm to 7 pm EDT.  Volunteers must be physically able to bend over and pull the plant gently out of the ground or hold a bag for their partner.

Volunteers are asked to go to the gatehouse area and park along the side of the road to sign in and get assigned a spot to pull. B ring your own work gloves and wear long pants and sturdy shoes. This event is co-hosted by Friends of Ferdinand State Forest and Invasive Species Awareness Coalition of Dubois County. Information can be found on the Facebook pages of both groups.
