FROM LOCAL SOURCES

JASPER -- Another Dubois County resident has died from COVID-19, state officials reported Friday afternoon.

The latest loss brings our death toll to 79.

The county also reported 16 new cases.  Our seven-day positivity rate is below CODE RED status for the first time in over a month at 13.8%.

Dubois County technically remains in CODE RED, however, if the numbers stay below 15%, we could be downgraded by Wednesday.
