Former Indiana Governor and Vice President Mike Pence Returns to Hoosier State Following Wednesday's Inauguration

COLUMBUS -- Former Vice-President Mike Pence has returned to Indiana after his term ended on Wednesday. 

Pence flew to his home town of Columbus where he was greeted by family and friends at the airport. He says he and his wife Karen will be moving back to the Hoosier state, saying between now and the summer they plan to split time between Columbus and Washington, D.C. while they get their affairs in order. 

The plan is to be permanently back in Indiana by the summer. 

Pence called serving as vice-president an "honor of a lifetime."
