Five Sent to Area Hospitals Following Weekend Crash in Dale

DALE -- Five people were sent to the hospital following a weekend crash in Dale.

Police were called to the scene around 1 p.m. Sunday on U.S. 231 at SR 62.  A Dale woman was attempting to turn onto SR 62 when she pulled into the path of an oncoming caravan driven by a Richland woman.

The vehicle lost control and spun into the median. 

Both drivers and a total of three juvenile passengers complained of pain and were all transported to area hospitals.  We do not know the extent of their injuries at this time.

Both vehicles were totaled in the crash.
