Five New Cases of COVID-19 Reported in Dubois County Friday Morning, One Death Announced Thursday

JASPER -- The Dubois County Health Department reported five new cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in the county Friday morning.
That brings the total to 969 cases in the county since the pandemic began. Of those cases, 19 have died, 849 others have recovered. The 19th death was just announced Thursday afternoon.
When you do the math, it comes out to 101 active cases in the county.

Dubois County remains under a CODE YELLOW designation.
The state's mask mandate is still in effect, however, we will move to STAGE 5 of the governor's Back on Track reopening plan Saturday. It's the final stage in the multi-stage plan to reopen the state's economy in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
