Ferdinand Closing Vienna Drive for Culvert Project

Ferdinand- The Ferdinand Street Department wishes to notify motorists and residents that a culvert replacement project on Vienna Drive at the 22nd Street intersection will begin on Monday August 21.  

This project, delayed from earlier this summer due to unexpected permitting issues, will cause road closures and detours for approximately six weeks.  Signage noting the construction work and road closures will be posted this Friday (August 11) by project contractor Knies Construction along Vienna Drive, Club Road and State Roads 162 & 264 to provide individuals time to plan for alternate travel routes.  

Town officials acknowledge the inconvenience this closure will cause, especially now that school is back in session, as Vienna Drive is one of the most heavily travelled streets in Ferdinand.  SE Dubois school officials have been advised of the pending closure along with all local emergency officials and the Post Office.  We are asking for patience from all who use Vienna Drive as part of their normal travel route during this work period.
