Summer Reading: Summer Reading begins May 30th. Anyone is welcome to participate. Reading Logs will be available at the Ferdinand Library or you can enroll with the Beanstack app. All who complete the program will receive recognition and be eligible for some amazing prizes which will be on display in the Library’s Lobby.
Kick Off Party: 6/1 1-3PM Non & Pop Balloons will be at the Library to create balloon art for all who attend. There will also be fun activities and treats.

Professor Tony: 6/8 1:30PM Professor Tony will be at the Tri County YMCA. No registration necessary. All are welcome.
Silly Safaris: 6/15 1:30PM Silly Safaris will be bringing all types of animals to the Tri County YMCA. No registration necessary. All are welcome.
Mike Hemmelgarn: Wednesday, 6/21 1:30PM Mike Hemmelgarn will be presenting comedy, juggling and ventriloquism at the Tri County YMCA. No registration necessary. All are welcome.
Professor Steve: 6/29 1:30PM Professor Steve will dazzle the audience with his scientific showcase at the Tri County YMCA. All are welcome.
Afternoon Book Club: 6/1 2PM All adults are welcome. Contact Library for more information.
Kids Canvas Painting: 6/5 2PM or 6PM Kids will their own hot air balloon painting. Registration required at www.jdcpl.us
Storytime From Europe: 6/7 10:30AM Join Tyla Rasche as she reads stories in French & German! Perfect for Kindergarten to Grade Three. *Register at www.jdcpl.us
Sticker Book Making: 6/8 6-7PM Adults can make a nice Sticker Book for a child to put the stickers they collect in. It includes a pocket folder and plastic sheets. Adults need to register at www.jdcpl.us
Book Sale: 6/10 10AM-1PM The Friends Of The Ferdinand Library is held on the second Saturday of each month. You can enter the Library Basement from the inside or by using the outside north door near the Ferdinand Community Center parking lot. Most paperbacks are $.50 and most hardcovers are $1. Stories For Littles/Family Storytime: (Tuesdays 6/6, 6/13, 6/20, 6/27 at 10AM) Enjoy stories, songs & crafts.
Traveling Artist Program: (Tuesdays 6/6, 6/13, 6/20, 6/27 at 3PM) Elementary school-aged kids learn about art from around the world and make a craft! *Registration is necessary for each session that kids plan to attend.
Pokemon Club: 6/17 10-11:30AM Pokemon Fans of all ages are invited to see movies, complete challenges, and bring their games to play with others.
Star Wood Craft: 6/22 Adults & Teens are welcome to make a neat star decoration for their entryway or home décor. *Registration required at www.jdcpl.us
Shrinky Dinks Craft: 6/22 2-4PM Come by and make your own creation. No registration necessary
Kids’ Craft – Galaxy Globe 6/26 2PM or 6PM 3:30 Make a shaker globe that will be filled with glitter and glue. Registration required at www.jdcpl.us
Stem Petting Zoo: 6/28 1:30-3:30PM Kids of all ages are welcome to come and explore the STEM toys that the Makerspace Van is bringing from Jasper Library. No registration necessary.

Clay Bead Bracelet Making: 6/29 6-7:30PM Adults and Teens are invited to make a Clay Bead Bracelet. A variety of colors and types will be available. *Registration required at www.jdcpl.us
World Traveling: The theme for the Summer Reading Program is “Have Book, Will Travel”. Come “pack your bag and grab a passport” to tour the World in our Programming Room during regular hours during the month of June!
