Eighth Dubois County Relocation Grant Awarded to Portland, Oregon Couple
Jasper – For the second consecutive day, a Dubois County Relocation Impact Grant has been awarded.
Caroline Brinster has been awarded the eighth Dubois
County Relocation Impact Grant.
Dubois Strong, in partnership with The Dubois County Community Foundation and
Radius Indiana, awards the $5,000 grants to out-of-state workers choosing to move to
Dubois County. Recipients must commit to staying for at least two years. The grant is
part of the Make My Move/Choose Southern Indiana initiative with TMap to incentivize
out-of-state workers to move to Dubois County.
Caroline and her partner, Andy Smith, are relocating to Jasper from Portland, Oregon
with their dog, Cooper. Andy is a Dubois County native and the couple is looking
forward to being close to his family. Caroline’s favorite thing about Dubois County is the
small-town sense of community.
Caroline will be working as an attorney for Dentons Bingham Greenebaum in Jasper
and Andy will be working as a Project Manager for Jasper Lumber.
This grant opportunity provides assistance to Andy and Caroline in establishing their
new life in Dubois County.
Additional Dubois County Relocation Impact Grants are available.
