Earth Day Education Fair at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center
Jasper – Join the Stewardship Committee at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 22 for an Earth Day Education Fair outside the front entrance at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center, located at 800 W. 9th Street in Jasper.
Featured at the educational event will be Booth Presenters highlighting this year’s theme of Earth Day, “Invest in our Planet”. 2022 Booth Presenters are Blessinger Bees, Blue River Solar, Dubois County Solid Waste, Jasper Utilities/Stormwater Department, MHHCC Hope Garden, Patoka River National Wildlife Refuge, Purdue Extension, Sisters of St. Benedict – Climate Change & Legislation, Soil and Water Conservation District, St. Vincent Depaul, Supplies Over Seas, and Vincennes University-Jasper.
There will be giveaways while supplies last including trees, courtesy of Vallonia State Tree Nursery, tomato plants, courtesy of Welps Farm & Greenhouse and The Memorial Hospital Foundation; and a $100 gift certificate from Buschkoetter’s Nursery, Lawn and Garden Center. The event is open to the public.
The Memorial Hospital Stewardship Committee believes that when individuals come together, the impact can be monumental.
