Dubois Strong to Host 2024 Annual Meeting at Thyen-Clark Cultural Center
Dubois Strong will hold its 2024 Annual Meeting on the
evening of Thursday, April 25
th in the Thyen-Clark Cultural Center Atrium in Jasper,
Indiana. The event will be held from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm in an open house format.
Heavy appetizers and drinks will be served.
The event is held yearly as a thank you to investors and community partners and
highlights the organization’s successes and future plans.
Dubois Strong is the county’s economic development public-private partnership that
maximizes community resources and assets to foster economic growth.
In the past year, Dubois Strong has focused its efforts on childcare, workforce attraction
and retention, housing, and small business start-up and support.
Ed Cole, President of Dubois Strong, says, “With the recently released Dubois County
Housing Study, 2024 will bring a renewed focus on building an affordable, safe, and
sustainable housing market for all residents of the county. Another focus initiative this
year for our organization is the continuation of the Dubois County Relocation Impact
Grant to attract workforce to our county. Dubois Strong will also be partnering with other
local organizations and businesses to bring more entrepreneurial support in the form of
the ‘Foundations of Business Series’ presented by the Dubois County Entrepreneurs &
Innovators group.”
