Dubois Strong Announces the Fifth Recipient of the Dubois County Relocation Impact Grant

Jasper – Dubois Strong, in partnership with The Dubois County Community Foundation and Radius Indiana, has awarded the fifth Dubois County Relocation Impact Grant.

Russell Mehringer is the latest recipient of the Impact Grant which offers $5,000 to 11 people who move to Dubois County and stay for at least two years. The grant is part of the Make My Move/Choose Southern Indiana initiative with TMap to incentivize out-of- state workers to move to Dubois County.

Russell and his wife, Lisa – along with their 10-month-old son and pets – have relocated to Huntingburg from Nashville, TN. Russel is self-employed through his company NPALL Audio, and Lisa will be working as a Physician Assistant for Memorial Hospital at the Huntingburg Urgent Care. Russell and Lisa are both originally from Dubois County and decided to move back to the area to be near family. They are most looking forward to the sense of community Dubois County will be bring, having their son grow up near family, and the outdoor recreation in the area.

This grant opportunity provides assistance to the Mehringer family in establishing their new life in Dubois County. Additional Dubois County Relocation Impact Grants are available.
