Dubois-Pike Federal credit Union Library Donation
The Dubois-Pike Federal credit Union was started in 1971 by educators for educators.
They recently renewed their contract with VISA to provide debit and credit card processing services to their members. In return, VISA granted them with $3,000.00 to donate toward any community investment. The board of directors for the Credit union voted to disburse these funds to the public libraries of Dubois and Pike Counties to help support summer programs for kids. The five Dubois County libraries and the one Pike County library were all donated $500.00
Rose Nealy CEO for Dubois-Pike Federal credit union tells us “it was a very rewarding experience to be able to take these libraries the donations and help support them, they were all ecstatic to receive it.” She also goes on to tell us that “most of the libraries can’t finish their summer programs until they see know the donations they receive in a year, so to be able to help them finish off summer programs for kids is beyond amazing.”
