Dubois County Will Likely Be Downgraded to CODE ORANGE Wednesday as COVID Numbers Continue to Drop

JASPER -- State officials announced another county resident has died from the virus.

It brings our death toll to 81.

While that’s a grim statistic, the number of new COVID-19 cases in Dubois County continues to drop.  Just four new cases reported Tuesday.

Our seven-day positivity rate has tanked compared to this time just last week.  It currently stands at 10.9%.  We are expecting the state to downgrade Dubois County to a CODE ORANGE designation this afternoon.  If officials do, it would be the first time the county fell below CODE RED in several weeks.
