Dubois County Will Host Another Mass Vaccination Event in March, 60 and Older Can Now Sign Up

JASPER -- The Dubois County Health Department will host another mass vaccination clinic next month.

Residents 60 and older will be able to get the first dose of the Moderna vaccine by appointment.

Health officials say it’s a great opportunity for any eligible person looking for an appointment or anyone looking to move up a 1st shot appointment.

The clinic will be held Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Jasper Middle School.  The 2nd Dose will be April 10, 2021 at the same location.

The middle school is located at 3600 Portersville Road in Jasper.

The event will run from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m.  You’re asked to arrive at your appointment time.  To make an appointment, log on to ourshot.in.gov.  If you don’t have internet access, dial 211.

7,664 people have received the first shot in Dubois County.  4,420 have been fully vaccinated with both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.

The COVID-19 vaccine is now available to individuals age 60 and older.

The Dubois County Health Department will host another mass vaccination clinic to administer COVID-19 vaccine in this one-day event!  This is a great opportunity for any eligible individuals looking for an appointment or anyone looking to move up a 1st shot appointment. 

When: Saturday, March 13, 2021 - (2nd Dose will be April 10, 2021 same location)

Time: 8:00 am - 2:00 pm. (Please arrive at your scheduled appointment time)

Where: Jasper Middle School - 3600 Portersville Road, Jasper IN 47546 

Parking:  Please use the NORTHSIDE parking lot behind the school building (follow the signs)

Who: Anyone eligible according to the Indiana State Department of Health guidelines, which includes any Healthcare worker, or workers at a health care facility with direct patient care, first responders with direct patient care when responding to an accident or event, long term care workers and residents, and finally anyone over the age of 60. The only way to receive the COVID-19 vaccine is by scheduling an appointment at www.ourshot.in.gov  or by calling 211 for those individuals who do not have internet access.
