Dubois County Unemployment Rate in December Was 20th Lowest in the State, The County is Usually the Lowest in the State

JASPER -- Dubois County reported 3% unemployment in December.

We typically have the lowest unemployment in the state but, last month, we ranked 20th in Indiana.

Three local counties posted lower unemployment rates than us in December:  Martin County at 2.9%; Warrick County reports 2.8% and Daviess County posted 2.4% unemployment last month. 

Spencer County reported 3.6% unemployment in to round out 2020; Pike County had 3.7%; Perry County 3.9% and Orange County, still hit pretty hard by the pandemic… they had 5.6% unemployment last month.
