
Dubois County Unemployment Falls in December, Still Lowest in the State Last Month

AREA-WIDE -- Dubois County had the lowest unemployment in the state for the month of December at just 2%.
That’s down slightly from November’s unemployment rate of 2.3%
Martin County reported 2.1% unemployment in December. Daviess a fraction-of-a-point higher at 2.4%.
Warrick County reported 2.7% unemployment last month; 2.8% in Knox County.
Orange County came in at 3.1%, Spencer 3.2%, Pike 3.3% and Lawrence County reported 3.4% unemployment.
The county with the highest unemployment locally is Crawford County at 4.2% unemployment for the month of December.
