Dubois County Substance Abuse Council to Host 4th Annual Candlelight Vigil Thursday Night

Holland - The Dubois County Substance Abuse Council will host their 4th Annual Overdose Awareness Candlelight Vigil at the Holland American Legion Park Thursday night.

Ahead of the August 31st International Overdose Awareness Day, the Substance Abuse Council is inviting the public to join the organization's annual candlelight vigil to honor those who have experienced the perils of addiction.

Beginning at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 26th, attendees are invited to receive resources, listen to guest speaks, participate in the vigil and share their experience with addiction. The event will held until 8:30 p.m. rain or shine.

The council recommends bringing blankets or chairs to sit on.
