Dubois County Sets COVID Record for Second Straight Day, All 92 Indiana Counties Red

Dubois Co. - Dubois County has gone back-to-back days in setting COVID-19 single-day records while every county in the state is under the highest advisory level.


In Wednesday's update from the Indiana Department of Health, Dubois County recorded 174 COVID-19 cases, edging out the previous day's record of 173. The two-day total of 347 cases is the highest mark at any point during the pandemic.



Over the course of the pandemic, Dubois County has recorded 11,123 total cases and 152 deaths. Only two deaths attributed to COVID-19 have been recorded in the month of January.

Dubois County, along with every county in the state, is under a Red Advisory. In Wednesday's online dashboard update, the county has recorded 1,769 cases per 100,000 residents and a seven-day positivity percentage of 31.14.


Statewide, Indiana reported 16,502 total cases and 118 deaths attributed to the coronavirus.
