Dubois County Records Over 100 Cases for Third Straight Day
In Thursday's update, Dubois County recorded a total of 134 cases and zero deaths. The county has seen a total of 481 additional cases over a three day stretch. Dubois County had recorded back-to-back single-day records in the previous two days.
The seven-day average of daily COVID-19 cases has risen to a pandemic high of 126.
Over the course of the pandemic, 11,257 resident cases have been recorded.
Thursday's report did not reflect any deaths attributed to COVID-19 within the county. Dubois has recorded only two deaths in the month of January and hasn't seen a COVID-19 death since January 13th.
In District 10, the Indiana Department of Health reports that 20.9% of ICU beds are currently available. In the district, 28.9% are in use by COVID-19 patients. In the update, 72.8% of ventilators are shown as available.
Statewide on Thursday, Indiana reported 16,539 additional COVID-19 cases and 137 deaths attributed to the coronavirus.
