Dubois County Records One COVID Death, 262 Cases in Weekend Update
The county returned to double-digits in Monday's report (reflecting Sunday) with 64 cases. Saturday and Sunday's reports of 105 and 93, respectively, had added to a streak of consecutive days with over 100 cases dating back to January 12th. Over the course of the pandemic, the county has seen a total of 10,782 cases of COVID-19.
The county's 7-day positivity percentage is 43.7%, according to the Health Department Dashboard.
Over the weekend, the Indiana Department of Health reported a Dubois County death attributed to COVID-19, occurring on January 13th. Dubois County has seen a total of 152 deaths during the pandemic.
Though cases have surpassed the former highest peak in December of 2020, deaths have not been nearly as frequent. Dubois County has only recorded two deaths attributed to COVID-19 in the month of January.
