Dubois County Records One COVID-19 Death, 38 New Cases in Tuesday Update

Dubois Co. - In Tuesday's Indiana Department of Health COVID-19 Dashboard Update, Dubois County recorded one new death and 38 cases.


The county has seen a steady uptick in cases since hitting a four-month low point in October.

Dubois County has seen a total of 9,076 cases over the course of the pandemic. According to the Indiana Department of Health website, Dubois County has seen a seven day positivity percentage of 23%, over double the percentage required to be under a Red Advisory. Dubois County is currently under "Orange". The advisory map is updated every Wednesday.

Tuesday's recorded death raises the deaths within the county attributed to COVID-19 to 145. The county has seen six deaths in the month of December.


Statewide, Indiana reported 4,057 cases and 90 deaths.
