Dubois County Records Nine COVID-19 Cases; Many Counties Improve to Lower Advisory Levels

Statewide - In Wednesday's Indiana Department of Health Dashboard and Advisory Rate update, Dubois County recorded single-digit cases - many counties throughout the state improved to lower level advisories.

While Dubois County recorded nine new cases and zero new deaths, daily case numbers appear to be tapering from their elevated August and September levels.

Dubois County, like many Indiana counties, is seeing lower positivity rates and cases per 200,000 - the qualifications that determine advisory levels.

Statewide, currently four counties are under a Red Advisory, 57 are Orange, and 31 counties are under a Yellow Advisory.

In last week's county-by-county breakdown, eight counties were Red, 69 Orange, and 15 Yellow. In Wednesday's update, Indiana reported an additional 2,023 cases and 51 newly reported deaths.
