Dubois County Records New COVID Death, 13 Cases in Tuesday Update
Dubois Co. - In Tuesday's daily COVID-19 update from the Indiana Department of Health, Dubois County recorded another death attributed to COVID-19, along with 13 additional cases.
This is the second straight report with a COVID-19 death, as Monday's update reported one fatality over the weekend. Over the course of the pandemic, the county has seen 8,240 positive cases and a total of 131 deaths. Dubois remains under an Orange Advisory.
Statewide, eight counties are currently under a Red Advisory, 69 are under Orange, and 15 are under a Yellow advisory.
Across Indiana, 1,592 additional Hoosiers contracted the novel coronavirus. To date, the state has recorded 1,001,697 positive cases and 15,832 deaths.
Statewide, 1,551 Hoosiers are hospitalized with COVID-19 - the lowest total since August 16, 2021.
