Dubois County Records COVID Death, 22 Cases in Weekend Update

Dubois Co. - In Monday's update from the Indiana Department of Health reflecting weekend numbers, Dubois County report one death attributed to COVID-19 and 22 new positive cases.


Dubois County recorded 14 new positive cases on Friday, five on Saturday, and three on Sunday. Over the course of the pandemic, the county has seen a total of 8,618 total cases.

Dubois County also reported one new death over the weekend, raising the total to 138 deaths within the county. Dubois County remains under an Orange Advisory. The Dashboard Advisory Map is updated each Wednesday afternoon.

Statewide from Friday to Sunday, Indiana reported 8,057 new positive COVID-19 cases.

In the latest update, 1,708 Hoosiers are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. This is the highest total since October 12th, when 1,708 Hoosiers were also hospitalized.
