Dubois County Records 89 COVID Cases in Tuesday Update

Dubois Co. - In Tuesday's update from the Indiana Department of Health, Dubois County recorded 89 new COVID-19 cases and zero deaths.

This is the fifth time in the month of January that the county has seen a single-day total of 70 cases or higher. Dubois County has not recorded a death occurring since January 1st. The county remains under an Orange Advisory - the Indiana Department of Health Advisory map is due to be updated Wednesday afternoon.

The seven-day morning average of positive cases has rose to 76 in Tuesday's update. This is the highest recorded average number since late December of 2020, when Dubois County reached a figure of 86.

Statewide, Indiana recorded 11,932 positive cases and 110 deaths attributed to COVID-19.
