Dubois County Records 163 Single-Day COVID Cases, 81 Counties Under Red Advisory
The single-day total is only second to December 15th, 2020, when the county reported 165 total cases.
Dubois County recorded zero deaths in Wednesday's update. The county has not reported a death attributed to COVID-19 since January 1st.
Dubois County is now under a Red Advisory with a figure of 1,139 weekly cases-per-100,000 residents and a positivity percentage of 19.49%.
Statewide, Indiana reported 15,091 cases and 125 deaths attributed to the coronavirus.
At the time of Wednesday's update, 3,488 hospitalized patients have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Currently, 8.9% of ICU bed are available across Indiana, though 52% are occupied by patients without COVID-19.
